Have you heard the “Go Gonzaga” whisper? Have you flipped through a magazine only to stop at a page filled with the promise of Gonzaga students?
See Gonzaga’s complete 2010 media campaign and learn more about each ad at www.gonzaga.edu/ads. The campaign was developed to help bring national attention to GU’s academic excellence, community involvement, service to others and development of faith.
The Web site featuring the ads, www.gonzaga.edu/beinspired, will give viewers a “first impression” of Gonzaga. On the site, you can explore Gonzaga’s virtual wall known as ZagWall, take a video campus tour, see Gonzaga in pictures and learn about the individuals who make the Gonzaga experience possible for our students.
“Our objective with this campaign is to capture the attention of a national audience with Gonzaga’s unique sense of spirit and our students’ ability to apply their knowledge for a better world,” said David Sonntag, assistant vice president of marketing and communications at Gonzaga.
“Hopefully, these messages and images are a springboard for Gonzaga’s efforts to connect with alumni, the community at large, and prospective parents and students,” Sonntag said.
Full-page ads are running in Alaska Airlines Magazine and other publications. The 30-second TV spot, centered on the proud “Go Gonzaga” chant, plays regularly on KHQ television and Fox Sports Northwest, as well as on select ESPN men’s basketball broadcasts. CBS ran the spot pro-bono on two recent national broadcasts of Gonzaga men’s basketball.
