Evening of Jazz, Urban, Tap, Ballet, and Student Choreography United By a Love of Dance
Gonzaga University theatre arts will present its final production of the season with “One World of Dance: The 9th Annual Spring Dance Concert.”Audiences will witness the excitement and power on stage in performances at 7:30 p.m. April 22, 23 and at 2 p.m. on April 24 at the Harry and Colleen Magnuson Theatre in College Hall.
While there are many dance styles and traditions in our world, we are united in a common love of this expressive art form — this is our “One World of Dance.” The performances feature the dance styles of jazz, urban, ballet, jazz and more.
Suzanne Ostersmith, director of the Gonzaga University Dance Program, describes the production theme: “So many dance styles on the stage . . . we call it our ‘One World of Dance’.” Tickets are $5 each. The event is “family friendly” and the public is cordially invited.
