SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga University’s Senior Thesis Art Exhibition opens Thursday, April 14 with a free public preview reception from 7-9 p.m., at the Jundt Art Museum. The annual presentation, which showcases the work of Gonzaga’s graduating seniors, opens officially to the public April 15 in the Jundt Galleries.
The Senior Exhibition marks the culmination of the Gonzaga art department’s Bachelor of Arts degree program. Participating students are required to submit a portfolio of work and share responsibilities for all aspects of the exhibition. A diverse collection of drawings, paintings, prints and ceramics will be displayed through May 7.
The student-artists featured in the 2011 Senior Thesis Exhibition are: John de Roulet, Bothell, Wash.; Crystal Goade, Spokane; Adrianna Gould, Vancouver, Wash.; Tiffany Hamm, Columbus, Ga; Jennifer Hahn, Olympia, Wash.; Vickie Kennedy, Spokane; Ashley Schenk, Harrington, Wash.; Emily Stage, Seattle; Eric Tra, Spokane; Kristina Williams, Spokane; and Katrina Zappala, Moraga, Calif.
“The Bolker Collection: Fritz Eichenberg,” an exhibit of wood engravings by social activist and master engraver Fritz Eichenberg continues in the Arcade Gallery until July 30.
