Gonzaga to Offer Live Video Stream of Archbishop Tutu’s May 13 Commencement Address

Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu's Senior Commencement keynote address on May 13 will viewable live online from the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena.

SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga University’s Senior Commencement keynote address by Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu will be available via live streaming video on Sunday, May 13. The live video will be available at the following link [www.gonzaga.edu/watchtutu] for home computers, tablets or smart phones. See system requirements here.

The live video from the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena will begin with the procession into the arena at 9:30 a.m. Archbishop Tutu is expected to speak at approximately 10:10 a.m. The ceremony will be streamed in its entirety, ending at approximately 1 p.m.

A prominent link to the live video will be available on Gonzaga’s home page on the morning of May 13. While admission to the ceremony at the Spokane Arena is by invitation only – to accommodate the families and guests of the graduating class – Gonzaga invites the public to view this special occasion online.
