‘Being Religious Interreligiously’ Series
SPOKANE, Wash. – Joseph Prabhu, philosophy professor at California State University, Los Angeles, and trustee of the Council for a Parliament of the World’s Religion, will discuss “The Encounter of Religions in a Global Age” at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 3 in the Barbieri Courtroom at Gonzaga University Law School. The event is free and open to the public.
Prabhu, a former senior fellow at the Center for the Study of World Religions at Harvard University, is well known internationally for his work in interfaith relations, human rights, cross-cultural ethics, and peace studies. The presentation is the fifth annual lecture in the Gonzaga University religious studies department’s “Being Religious Interreligiously” series.
