Gonzaga Alumni Saddle up to Support Crohn’s Disease Research

SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga University alumni Jack Chambers (’11) and Nick Roach (’12) have been traveling across the Northwest on horseback all summer to raise money for Crohn’s disease research. Their epic adventure passed through campus on Aug. 12 and the community showed its support.

The cousins decided this was an ideal time in their lives for a grand quest for a good cause. Chambers and several of his cousins have battled Chron’s disease throughout their lives. So far, the two have raised more than $34,500 for the cause.

Their trip began in early July in Gardiner, Mont., and is to end, approximately, on Oct. 12 in Bellingham, Wash. Click the following link to learn more about their adventure, track their progress, and see if they will be coming to a town near you. View the video interview below:
