A Musical Auf Wiedersehen Send-Off Concert

SPOKANE, Wash. – The 26 students of the Gonzaga University Chamber Singers and conductor Timothy Westerhaus will perform a musical Auf Wiedersehen Send-Off Concert at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 11 in the University Chapel on the third floor of College Hall before leaving for a whirlwind tour of Germany and Austria.

The singers have a rigorous scheduled planned in this musically rich region, including five promoted concerts and recitals throughout Vienna, Salzburg, and Munich. Their campus concert celebrates their departure immediately after senior commencement (May 12) and gives the singers an opportunity to bid Gonzaga adieu.

In the musical Auf Wiedersehen Send-Off Concert, the singers will perform works from this year’s expansive repertoire in preparation for this once-in-a-lifetime European tour. The concert is free and open to the public; free-will donations will be accepted to help offset the cost of the tour.
