Gonzaga Symphony Orchestra Presents Its Season Finale April 28 at The Fox

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga Symphony Orchestra concludes its 2013-14 season with a concert at 7:30 p.m., Monday, April 28 at the Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox (1001 W. Sprague Ave.).

Conducted by Kevin Hekmatpanah, the concert will feature winners of the Young Artists’ Concerto/Aria Competition. Erin Pazaski will perform the Haydn Trumpet Concerto, Tenor Judson Virden will sing “Che Gelida Manina” from Puccini’s La Boheme, and Mezzo-soprano Anna Frisch will sing “Una Voce Poco Fa” from Rossini’s The Barber of Seville.  The orchestra will conclude with Symphony No. 1 by Mahler, also known as “The Titan.”

General admission is $13 for the public and $10 for non-GU students and seniors. The performance is free to Gonzaga faculty, staff and students with GU identification. Tickets are available by calling (509) 624-1200 or by visiting the ticket office at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox.

For Gonzaga faculty, staff and students: A free shuttle bus will leave from St. Aloysius Church at 6:40 p.m. and 7:05 p.m. and will return to the church after the performance.
