Leadership Student Katherine Cascamo Earns Center of Science & Culture’s C.S. Lewis Fellowship

SPOKANE, Wash. – Katherine Cascamo, a student in the Gonzaga University Master of Organizational Leadership Program, has been awarded a C.S. Lewis Fellowship from the Center for Science and Culture in Seattle. She will take part in the C.S. Lewis Fellows Program on Science and Society from July 11-19 with all expenses paid.

Cascamo and the other Fellows will explore science’s growing impact over the past century on politics, economics, social policy, bioethics, theology, and the arts. Topics covered will include the relationship between faith and science, coverage of science controversies in the media, and the history of science.

“This is an international and highly competitive fellowship with full financial support by the Center for Science and Culture,” said Adrian Popa, Ph.D., associate professor of organizational leadership and chair of the department of organizational leadership. “Katie is a fabulous student and a wonderful ambassador of the M.A. Organizational Leadership program.”
