Gonzaga School of Law Hosts State Supreme Court Debates

The debates begin at 5 p.m. in the Law School’s Barbieri Courtroom (721 N. Cincinnati St.).

SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga University School of Law will host debates tonight featuring the three races for the Washington State Supreme Court. Incumbents will face their challengers starting at 5 p.m. in the Barbieri Courtroom (721 N. Cincinnati St.). The event is free and open to the public. Parking is free after 5 p.m.

Tonight’s debate, hosted by the League of Women Voters of Washington and the Center for Justice at Gonzaga Law, will feature:

  • Chief Justice Barbara Madsen vs. Kittitas County Prosecutor Greg Zempel
  • Justice Mary Yu vs. Gonzaga Law Professor David DeWolf
  • Justice Charlie Wiggins vs. Federal Way Municipal Court Judge Dave Larson.
