SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga University Institute for Hate Studies has awarded Marnie Rorholm, a student in Gonzaga’s Doctoral Program in Leadership Studies, the Eva Lassman Memorial Student Research Award, which includes a $700 stipend to assist in her study of a hate-related issue.

SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga University Professor Shann (Ferch) Ray’s debut book of poems, “Balefire,” has been selected as a finalist for the High Plains Book Award in poetry. A distinguished scholar of leadership and forgiveness studies, fiction writer, and poet, Ferch is a professor in Gonzaga’s Doctoral Program in Leadership Studies.
