U.S. News & World Report ranks Gonzaga University’s Master of Business Administration program the 82nd best (tie) part-time MBA program in the nation, up from last year’s No. 93 ranking. This marks the third consecutive year the program has earned a top-100 ranking from the publication.

For the 10th consecutive year, Gonzaga University will graduate its largest class ever during its 119th commencement exercises May 11-13. Gonzaga officials expect to confer a total of 2,221 undergraduate, graduate and law degrees, a dozen more than its previous record-largest class of 2,209 graduates in 2011.

Gonzaga University’s top debate team of seniors Leah Moczulski and Paul Kanellopoulos advanced to the Final Four of the National Debate Tournament April 2 before losing 3-2 to Northwestern University. Moczulski and Kanellopoulos, both from Houston, became the first team in school history to advance to the Final Four.

In addition, she will read from her poetry at the Holocaust Remembrance at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 18 in the Foley Center Teleconference Room. Both events are free and open to the public.

Gonzaga University President Thayne M. McCulloh said the University was profoundly saddened to learn of the accidental death on the afternoon of Sunday, April 1 of first-year student Christopher J. Gormley, 18, from Everett, Wash., after the kayak he was paddling capsized at Rock Lake in Whitman County.
