GLENDALE, Ariz. – Harry Sladich, who served Gonzaga University in leadership roles for 49 years, including as vice president for administration and planning where he oversaw athletics and resisted calls to trim basketball budgets, died in 2009 but his son Harry is proudly representing his dad at the National Championship game today.
SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga University’s marketing and communications team won three awards, including one of two “best of show” awards, for its “Unfold” brand advertising campaign at the Spokane Regional MarCom Association’s Spark Awards on April 21.
Gonzaga University honored Geraldine “Gerri” and Bob Craves with its Ignatian Spirit Award on Thursday, April 14 at the ninth annual Ignatian Gala at the John J. Hemmingson Center Ballroom. The Craves were recognized for their leadership and lifelong dedication to the Jesuit ideals of helping others through education.
SPOKANE, Wash. – As Gonzaga University supporters celebrated the fourth annual Gonzaga Day, President Thayne McCulloh thanked the extraordinary generosity of Spokane residents Fritz and Jeanie Wolff, and their family, for their transformational gift. Thanks to the Wolffs and nearly 28,000 other supporters, Gonzaga has raised $207 million toward its $250 capital campaign goal.
